A Marble-Llous Case - GLOBE-TROTTER

Globe-Trotter's classic Centenary case is given a makeover with Matches Fashion's striking marbled prints.

Those with an artistic flair will take great delight in Globe-Trotter's latest collaboration with Matches Fashion. The luxury boutique is renowned as a fashion-forward online shopping destination, offering an expertly curated selection of clothing and accessories from leading and emerging designers.

When invited to lend its creative eye to a capsule luggage collection, the Matches team knew exactly where to look for inspiration – the opulent patterns created by marble designer Ann Muir for the brand's eye-catching gift boxes.

The kaleidoscopic patterns perfectly complement the vintage aesthetics of Globe-Trotter's classic Centenary suitcases, which take on a stylish and playful veneer when covered from head to toe in the lava-like print, offset by Globe-Trotter's distinctive handmade leather corners, straps and handles.

The interior lining of the cases features a contrasting marbled pattern in feathery peacock shades. Those who prefer to make a more subtle style statement can opt for a single-tone leather outer case in green or navy, with the beautiful marbled lining revealed only once the case is opened.

'Our customer is global and travels regularly so this exclusive and luxurious luggage option, incorporating our iconic marbling, will appeal whether travelling for work or on vacation,' says Cassie Smart, buying manager at Matches Fashion.

The collection comprises three exterior colour options (marble, green and navy) and each is available in two sizes: 20"", to comply with hand-luggage regulations, and 30"", which offers plenty of space to pack any overseas shopping purchases.

Whichever design you choose it's sure to add an extra layer of excitement to packing for your next trip.

The collection is exclusive to matchesfashion.com and will be available from 2 August 2017. Prices start at £1,250
