Globe-Trotter announces an exclusive collaboration with the celebrated American luxury house Tiffany & Co.
Imagine this scenario: one day, completely by surprise, you’re presented with a robin’s-egg Blue Box wrapped with a pristine white ribbon. Even before you discover what’s inside there’s a particular thrill that comes from knowing that this isn’t just an ordinary gift; it’s Tiffany’s.
Some brands simply need no introduction. Just as a Globe-Trotter is so much more than a suitcase manufacturer, Tiffany & Co. isn’t just a luxury brand, it’s synonymous with a particular lifestyle and a byword for distinctly American elegance.
This month sees the launch of the new Globe-Trotter X Tiffany & Co. collection: where two heritage brands come together in one unique, limited-edition and oh-so stylish collection.
The new range comprises a jewellery case, four trolley suitcases and a vanity case, all produced with one-of-a-kind Tiffany Blue® vulcanised fibreboard. The simple yet elegant design is complemented with contrasting silver locks and a branded plaque, with chic grey-blue leather straps and matching lining. Like all Globe-Trotter products, the suitcases have been handmade in our U.K. factory, and will be making their way across the pond where they will be available exclusively at the famous Fifth Avenue flagship and selected Tiffany stores from 1 November.
Tiffany & Co. is nothing short of a New York City institution; a place where Holly Golightly famously claimed ‘nothing very bad could happen to you.’ The company was founded in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B. Young as a ‘stationery and fancy goods emporium’. While jewellery may be the retailer’s most famous ‘fancy goods’ these days, the new limited-edition cases join a stellar range of Tiffany branded luxury accessories and gifts. And don’t feel too hard done by if you’re not a New Yorker, at least you now have the perfect excuse to take a Christmas break in the Big Apple.
