TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

Globe-Trotter Club Rental Terms and Conditions

  1. If inspection and initial testing of the luggage indicates any defect, damage or failure to operate as a normal luggage piece, it shall not be used and/or operated, and I will contact and notify the Globe-Trotter Club Rental Programme (the “Programme”) at club@globe-trotter.com of any and all defects.

1a. Understand that the Programme is responsible for repairing all Programme luggage, and so I will not attempt to repair the luggage myself. I agree to accept any costs I incur from damages caused through an attempt to repair luggage.

  1. Agree that the luggage at all times, remains the exclusive property of Globe-Trotter or its commercial partner. I will not make any type of modification to the luggage at any time. If through my modifications the luggage is damaged, I will accept the incurred costs.
  2. I will not allow any third party to use the luggage, in any way whatsoever, whether free of charge or for consideration. I will not carry and/or transport any person or passengers on the luggage under any circumstances.
  3. Accept and abide by the Globe-Trotter Club Rental Programme operating hours and luggage availability provisions: I agree to check availability of Programme lending online or by emailing club@globe-trotter.com. Luggage must be returned within the maximum loan time limits allowed and agreed on by the Club. Luggage is limited and the Globe-Trotter Club may not always have available luggage for loan.
  4. Agree that any activity deemed as misuse of the luggage may lead to temporary suspension from the Programme and/ or the Club and/ or termination of my involvement in, or membership of, the same.
  5. Agree to return the luggage to the designated Globe-Trotter location by the end of the agreed period. The Club can decide to suspend my membership temporarily and/or to charge me a fee for the rental of the luggage if the luggage is not returned within the agreed period. After my third suspension, I understand that my participation in the Programme may be permanently terminated without any refund. Any luggage or equipment that is not returned 3 days after the agreed period, with no prior attempt to notify the Club, will be reported to the Police as stolen.
  6. Agree to immediately report to the Club a stolen or lost luggage. I am responsible and liable for any misuse, consequences, claims, demands, causes of action, losses, liabilities, damages, injuries, costs and expenses, penalties, legal fees, judgments, suits, or disbursements of any kind or nature whatsoever related to a stolen or lost luggage.
  7. Agree to the use of my personal data in accordance with the Globe-Trotter privacy policy at https://www.globe-trotter.com/pages/privacy-policy.
  8. Understand that Globe-Trotter shall have the right to revise, change, and modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior written notification by posting the revised version on its website. I shall be solely responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any modification to these Terms & Conditions. Rental of the luggage by me following any modifications to these Terms & Conditions constitutes my acceptance of these Terms & Conditions as modified.
  9. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of the same.
