Globe-Trotter Celebrates Chinese New Year - GLOBE-TROTTER

Join in the Year of the Dog festivities

This February, millions of people across the world will be celebrating the arrival of Chinese New Year with two weeks of feasts, festivities and fireworks. Friday 16 February officially welcomes the Year of the Dog, with elemental sign earth (the other elements are metal, water, fire and wood). The dog is a symbol of loyalty and honesty, and it's said that people born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits of human nature; they are honest, friendly, loyal and smart with a strong sense of responsibility. On the flip side, they can also be critical, self-righteous and incredibly stubborn.

Famous 'Dogs' include Prince William and Kate Middleton, Madonna and Bill Clinton. If this is your year, or perhaps you know of an imminent Year of the Dog arrival, we are marking the occasion with an exclusive offer. Globe-Trotter designer Charlotte Seddon has created a hand-drawn canine illustration, which can be embossed with our compliments on any lucky red centenary luggage tag purchased in-store from 5 February until the end of the month. From all of us at Globe-Trotter, Xīn Nián Kuài Lè! – Happy New Year!

The limited edition Chinese New Year Luggage Tag is priced at RRP £85 – available at the Globe-Trotter UK Flagship store and online.
