Globe-Trotter To Host ‘Exposure: BAFTA Reportage’ - GLOBE-TROTTER

Globe-Trotter are proud to announce that they are hosting ‘EXPOSURE: BAFTA REPORTAGE’ - an exclusive photography exhibition at their flagship store on Mayfair’s Albemarle Street.

Celebrating Globe-Trotter’s partnership with the EE British Academy Film Awards in 2016, the BAFTA exhibition includes works by photographers Sarah Lee and Michael Barrett. Lee’s career has spanned more than 15 years, during which she has served as official photographer for The Guardian, The Observer and numerous other high profile publications. She was commissioned by BAFTA to shoot on the red carpet and backstage at their Film and Television Awards, documenting the glitz, glamour and excitement with her Leica M cameras. Barrett was BAFTA’s main photographer during the ‘70s, covering Awards as well as special events including the Royal Opening of the organisation’s headquarters at 195 Piccadilly.

Photographs on display are taken from past BAFTA ceremonies, Q&A events and private dinners taking place between 1976 - 2015 and will include stills of Eddie Redmayne, Julianne Moore, Keira Knightley and Tom Cruise to name a few. The partnership with BAFTA celebrates Globe-Trotter’s long-standing relationship with British film spanning the past century and their role as Official Gift Bag Partner for this year’s awards ceremony.

The exhibition will be held in the Bespoke Lounge in the Globe-Trotter flagship store at 35 Albemarle Street until 29th February.
