The Original Attaché is a modern business essential with a heritage soul. Made from black vulcanised fibreboard and finished with matching black leather corners, the case is completed with polished chrome fittings for a refined, monochrome finish. The design is clean and precise, staying true to the form of Globe-Trotter’s earliest creations.

Inside, a soft fabric lining protects documents and devices, while a removable leather folio adds versatility for meetings or working on the move. The top handle is wrapped in matching leather for comfortable carrying throughout the day.

Part of the Original collection, this attaché case reflects the values Globe-Trotter has always stood for: clarity, craft, and quiet confidence.

Vulcanised Fibreboard

The body of the Attaché is crafted from Globe-Trotter’s proprietary Vulcanised Fibreboard, formed from 14 layers of recycled paper, cotton, and wood pulp from sustainable sources. The layers are bonded with zinc and compressed using steam and pressure, resulting in a shell that is exceptionally lightweight and strong. This exclusive material is chosen for its durability, structural integrity, and timeless character.

Vegetable-Tanned Leather

All leather elements, including the hand-moulded corners, trims, handles and fastening details, are made from vegetable-tanned hide. This traditional tanning method uses only natural plant extracts to create leather of exceptional strength and character. Over time, it develops a rich patina, ensuring that every case becomes ever more individual with each journey.

Ethical Sourcing

All leather is ethically sourced, with traceability and a commitment to high standards of animal welfare and responsible environmental practices.

Handle

The handle is constructed from reinforced, vegetable-tanned leather. It is bonded, pressed, and hand-finished for comfort and long-term durability.

Lining

The interior is lined with finely woven cotton or a cotton-blend fabric, chosen for its smooth feel, strength, and refined look.

Locks and Hardware

The Attaché is equipped with a precision-engineered lock and hardware made from carbon steel or solid brass, finished in gold, chrome, or signature tones. Each component is selected for reliable security and a polished appearance.

Serial Plaque

A unique, individually numbered metal plaque is fitted inside each Attaché, confirming authenticity and providing a permanent mark of provenance.
