The Inspiration
Designed by renowned architectural and interior designer Ben Pentreath, the store retains a British look with a feel of considered sophistication.Taking inspiration from classical architecture, we combined multiple design disciplines and influences to embody Globe-Trotter’s history and longevity. The aim was to capture the essence of British design and artistry, whilst using subtle architectural cues from Parisian panelling to anchor the space in its surroundings. We chose a vibrant colour for the walls – Cambridge Blue - first familiar in the early 1800’s - which presented the ideal backdrop tone to accentuate the endless possibilities available with the Globe-Trotter collection as well as offering a nod to the brighter new hues in the range.
