Globe-Trotter’s new ‘1897’ Leather range is designed to complement the iconic Centenary suitcase designs, allowing travellers to have matching ensembles on their journey. Elements of the Centenary luggage collection has been translated into a range of small accessories and charms with design details that echo the recognisable corners and straps of the much-loved suitcases.
The ‘1897’ Flap Over Purse is classic and elegant. Handcrafted from high-quality tumbled calf leather, the purse features a flap over closure with luggage-style strap detail secured with a discreet press stud, front slip compartments and interior with capacity for 14 cards plus an internal zip compartment for coins.
Vegetable-Tanned Leather
All Globe-Trotter leather goods are crafted from premium vegetable-tanned hide leather. This leather is selected for its soft touch, strength, and elegant appearance. The vegetable tanning process uses only natural plant extracts and traditional methods, resulting in leather that is both durable and capable of developing a rich, individual patina over time.
Finishing
Each piece is precision-cut and hand-finished for smooth, refined edges. The surface is treated with a subtle protective coating to help preserve colour vibrancy and resist everyday wear.
Stitching
All stitching is completed using premium, abrasion-resistant thread, ensuring strength, longevity, and an elegant presentation.
Embossed or Printed Detailing
Branding and decorative motifs are applied with heat embossing or fine printing techniques, resulting in crisp, lasting detail and a sophisticated look.
