The 'everyday' Globe-Trotter miniature case features all the elements of the traditional suitcase in a compact clutch size with a detachable shoulder strap.
Globe-Trotter are thrilled to present a collaboration range with Paris based luxury fashion house Casablanca.
Paying homage to the theme of travel and Paris, Casablanca’s AW22 collection entitled "Le Monde Diplomatique" celebrates classic 70s retro fashion and the opulent aesthetic of the jet set era. Globe-Trotter, whose luggage design remains unchanged since 1897, has created a range of suitcases and bags forming part of the collection, and is a perfect complement to the Casablanca look.
The main body for each bag and case is covered in a grooved aluminium exterior, topped with the unmistakable Casablanca bamboo handle which sit on top of each piece. Contrasting brass hardware securing the sides and corners in place, further accentuate the chic exterior. Each case is lined with the Casablanca tricolour motif which is seen repeated across the rest of the AW22 collection.

Vulcanised Fibreboard
The main structure is made from Globe-Trotter’s proprietary Vulcanised Fibreboard, comprising 14 layers of recycled paper, cotton, and wood pulp from sustainable sources. Bonded with zinc and compressed with steam and pressure, this material is chosen for its exceptional lightness, strength, and distinctive character. It offers lasting protection and a refined finish unique to Globe-Trotter.
Vegetable-Tanned Leather
All leather elements, including the hand-moulded corners, trims, handles and fastening details, are made from vegetable-tanned hide. This traditional tanning method uses only natural plant extracts to create leather of exceptional strength and character. Over time, it develops a rich patina, ensuring that every case becomes ever more individual with each journey.
Ethical Sourcing
All leather is ethically sourced, ensuring traceability and a commitment to animal welfare and environmentally responsible production.
Handles and Strap
Both the top handle and the crossbody strap are made from reinforced vegetable-tanned leather, carefully bonded and hand-finished for comfort and longevity.
Lining
The interior is lined with finely woven cotton or a cotton-blend fabric, selected for its softness, durability, and ability to complement the bag’s exterior palette.
Locks and Hardware
Hardware, including the clasp and strap fittings, is precision-engineered from carbon steel or solid brass and finished in gold, chrome, or other signature tones. Each component is selected for refined appearance and long-term performance.
Serial Plaque
Every bag includes a unique, individually numbered metal plaque inside. This plaque certifies authenticity and provides a permanent record of provenance.
