Limited to just 125 pieces worldwide, each case is made to order and handcrafted in England by Globe-Trotter’s most skilled artisans using advanced techniques rarely seen in modern luggage-making.
The signature vulcanised fibreboard body is carefully wrapped in smooth Heritage Blue leather, a process that demands absolute precision and extended crafting time. From the inked navy leather corners to the polished gold fittings and hand-stitched detailing, every element is finished by hand with reverence for the brand’s history and design legacy.
Free from a trolley system, the classic carry-on silhouette is retained in its most iconic form. A top leather handle provides balanced, comfortable carry, while the two-wheel base ensures controlled movement when required.
Inside, the open interior is lined in a soft, tonal fabric and offers ample room for carefully selected essentials. While designed to meet modern cabin sizing, this is a piece many will choose to display at home, a celebration of technique, form and quiet legacy.

Airplane Suitability
Meets requirements for most major airlines as Carry-On luggage. A small number of airlines may ask economy class passengers to check in this suitcase.
Vulcanised Fibreboard
Each case is made from Globe-Trotter’s proprietary Vulcanised Fibreboard, composed of 14 layers of recycled paper, cotton, and wood pulp from sustainable forests. The layers are bonded with zinc and compressed using steam and pressure. This results in a material that is exceptionally lightweight and strong, offering durability for a lifetime of travel while remaining easy to carry. We use this material for its unique balance of strength and lightness, which is exclusive to Globe-Trotter.
Vegetable-Tanned Leather
All leather elements, including the hand-moulded corners, trims, handles and fastening details, are made from vegetable-tanned hide. This traditional tanning method uses only natural plant extracts to create leather of exceptional strength and character. Over time, it develops a rich patina, ensuring that every case becomes ever more individual with each journey.
Ethical Sourcing
All leathers are ethically sourced. We partner only with suppliers who uphold high standards of animal welfare and environmental responsibility. This ensures full traceability and a commitment to sustainable production.
Webbing Straps
Webbing straps are woven from high-strength cotton, chosen for durability and a classic finish. Each strap is finished with hand-cut vegetable-tanned leather tips, providing added strength and an elevated detail. This combination ensures lasting reliability and refined style.
Handles
Handles are constructed from a blend of bonded leather and reinforcement materials, pressed for 48 hours before hand assembly. This method provides both comfort in the hand and long-term durability, making every journey effortless.
Lining
The interior is lined with a finely woven cotton or cotton-blend fabric, selected for its soft touch, strength, and complementary aesthetic.
Locks and Hardware
Locks and hardware are precision-engineered from carbon steel or solid brass, then finished in gold, chrome, or signature tones. Each piece is chosen for its security, durability, and ease of use.
Serial Plaque
A unique, individually numbered metal plaque is placed inside every case. This confirms authenticity and provides a permanent mark of provenance.
