The main structure is made from Globe-Trotter’s proprietary Vulcanised Fibreboard, comprising 14 layers of recycled paper, cotton, and wood pulp from sustainable sources. Bonded with zinc and compressed with steam and pressure, this material is chosen for its exceptional lightness, strength, and distinctive character. Vegetable-Tanned Leather
All leather elements, including the hand-moulded corners, trims, handles and fastening details, are made from vegetable-tanned hide. This traditional tanning method uses only natural plant extracts to create leather of exceptional strength and character. Over time, it develops a rich patina, ensuring that every case becomes ever more individual with each journey.
