The esteemed heritage brand Globe-Trotter, boasting a 119 year history and a long-standing relationship with the film industry, is proud to announce a partnership with the EE British Academy Film Awards in 2016, with the launch of their first made-to-order evening bag service.
This partnership brings together two brands firmly placed in the minds of many as British institutions, and celebrates Globe-Trotter’s long standing reputation for luxury craftsmanship and their role as this year’s Official Gift Bag Partner, along with BAFTA’s legacy of supporting British film talent.
The service, which complements Globe-Trotter’s existing bespoke luggage offering, allows customers to create their own unique box clutch from a selection of colours of Globe-Trotter’s iconic vulcanised fibreboard, leather, fittings and linings to create a truly unique combination. Customers are now able to extend their existing Globe-Trotter collection with a one-of-a-kind hand crafted box bag.
Globe-Trotter’s relationship with British film spans a century including product appearing in the Bond films Skyfall and Spectre. Globe-Trotter cases are also carried by some of the world’s most critically acclaimed actors and actresses including Rachel Weisz, Daniel Craig and Eddie Redmayne. Prices for this service start available in-store and onlineand the collection is available to view in Black, Gunmetal Grey, Ivory and Orient in the Globe-Trotter flagship store at 35 Albemarle Street.
