As the dynamic Formula One 2024 season begins in Bahrain, Globe-Trotter unveils its latest collaboration with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team
The high-octane world of F1 is never dull, but 2024 is set to be one of the most exciting years in the sport to date. In the wake of the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix last November, the Formula One 2024 season kicks off in Bahrain on Saturday 2 March before traversing the world’s most glamorous locations across 24 races. All eyes will be on Lewis Hamilton and co as they try to put a stop to the Max Verstappen dominance of 2023. One team hoping to push its way to the front of the grid is Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team, the F1® division of the historic British marque.
‘There’s a lot to be excited about in F1 in 2024,’ agrees Jefferson Slack, Managing Director of Commercial and Marketing at the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team. ‘We have a record-breaking 24 races on the calendar, which means more action for everyone to enjoy, but perhaps most importantly from a team perspective, we have consistency in our line-up and, after our best season to date in 2023, a strong starting point to hit the ground running.’
Aston Martin Aramco F1® team first dipped its toes into the world of Formula One® in the late 1950s but took a hiatus soon after. It wasn’t until 2021 that it made its triumphant return to the sport as the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team. Veteran Spanish driver Fernando Alonso and Canadian racer Lance Stroll fly the flag for Aston Martin Aramco F1® team, and this year the pair will be behind the wheel of the recently unveiled AMR24, the first car to be designed and built at the company’s state-of-the-art AMR Technology Campus in Silverstone.

‘The noise of an F1® car is an evocative thing,’ explains Slack. ‘It can conjure a variety of feelings depending on the person, but for many, it represents competition; the rivalries that are part and parcel of professional sport and the unifying entertainment factor that goes with it. In the case of the AMR24, the roar of its distinctive engine note represents the latest chapter in the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team’s journey. The 2024 season presents us with an opportunity to build on the success of last year and continue our quest towards the front of the grid.’
The Globe-Trotter x Aston Martin Aramco F1® Team collection is available from 28 February 2024 in-store and online. Prices start from £225.
