The Centenary London Square is a masterclass in modern British design, bringing the essence of Globe-Trotter’s iconic luggage into a versatile, structured cross-body bag. With its architectural form and elevated detailing, it’s the ideal companion for those who favour thoughtful design over fleeting trends.

Handcrafted in England from our signature vulcanised fibreboard, this edition pairs a charcoal body with black leather trim. Chrome fittings introduce a crisp contrast, highlighting the refined silhouette with a touch of polish. The structured square profile feels distinctive yet understated, while the adjustable leather strap allows for both cross-body wear and handheld styling.

The interior is softly lined and proportioned for everyday essentials, making it a natural fit for those who move between meetings, galleries, and weekend plans. Elegant, practical and quietly iconic, the London Square is more than a bag—it’s a reflection of how you carry yourself.

Vulcanised Fibreboard

The main structure is made from Globe-Trotter’s proprietary Vulcanised Fibreboard, comprising 14 layers of recycled paper, cotton, and wood pulp from sustainable sources. Bonded with zinc and compressed with steam and pressure, this material is chosen for its exceptional lightness, strength, and distinctive character. It offers lasting protection and a refined finish unique to Globe-Trotter.

Vegetable-Tanned Leather

All leather elements, including the hand-moulded corners, trims, handles and fastening details, are made from vegetable-tanned hide. This traditional tanning method uses only natural plant extracts to create leather of exceptional strength and character. Over time, it develops a rich patina, ensuring that every case becomes ever more individual with each journey.

Ethical Sourcing

All leather is ethically sourced, ensuring traceability and a commitment to animal welfare and environmentally responsible production.

Handles and Strap

Both the top handle and the crossbody strap are made from reinforced vegetable-tanned leather, carefully bonded and hand-finished for comfort and longevity.

Lining

The interior is lined with finely woven cotton or a cotton-blend fabric, selected for its softness, durability, and ability to complement the bag’s exterior palette.

Locks and Hardware

Hardware, including the clasp and strap fittings, is precision-engineered from carbon steel or solid brass and finished in gold, chrome, or other signature tones. Each component is selected for refined appearance and long-term performance.

Serial Plaque

Every bag includes a unique, individually numbered metal plaque inside. This plaque certifies authenticity and provides a permanent record of provenance.
