Handcrafted from vulcanised fibreboard with leather trim and polished brass hardware, each piece draws inspiration from Globe-Trotter’s historic travel trunks while reimagining them as refined storage objects for the home.
The Ivory and Cobalt Jet Set Toy Trunk celebrates the romance of air travel through iconic PEANUTS™ artwork featuring Snoopy, Woodstock, and friends in moments of travel and discovery. Aviation-inspired interior illustrations add a playful sense of nostalgia and adventure.
Designed in a compact silhouette without exterior straps, the Toy Trunk offers a clean and contemporary presence within bedrooms, studies, or living spaces. Ideal for storing keepsakes, collectibles, and smaller personal treasures, it balances playful character with understated sophistication.

Vulcanised Fibreboard
Each case is made from Globe-Trotter’s proprietary Vulcanised Fibreboard, composed of 14 layers of recycled paper, cotton, and wood pulp from sustainable forests. The layers are bonded with zinc and compressed using steam and pressure. This results in a material that is exceptionally lightweight and strong, offering durability for a lifetime of travel while remaining easy to carry. We use this material for its unique balance of strength and lightness, which is exclusive to Globe-Trotter.
Vegetable-Tanned Leather
All leather elements, including the hand-moulded corners, trims, and handles, are made from vegetable-tanned hide. This traditional tanning method uses only natural plant extracts to create leather of exceptional strength and character. Over time, it develops a rich patina, ensuring that every case becomes ever more individual with each journey.
Ethical Sourcing
All leathers are ethically sourced. We partner only with suppliers who uphold high standards of animal welfare and environmental responsibility. This ensures full traceability and a commitment to sustainable production.
Handles
Handles are constructed from a blend of bonded leather and reinforcement materials, pressed for 48 hours before hand assembly. This method provides both comfort in the hand and long-term durability, making every journey effortless.
Lining
The interior is lined with a finely woven cotton or cotton-blend fabric, selected for its soft touch, strength, and complementary aesthetic.
Locks and Hardware
Locks and hardware are precision-engineered from carbon steel or solid brass, then finished in gold, chrome, or signature tones. Each piece is chosen for its security, durability, and ease of use.
