Vulcanised Fibreboard
The body of the Air Cabin case is crafted from Globe-Trotter’s proprietary Vulcanised Fibreboard, consisting of 14 layers of recycled paper, cotton, and wood pulp sourced from sustainable forests. These layers are bonded with zinc and compressed using steam and pressure. The result is a shell that is both exceptionally lightweight and remarkably strong, providing trusted durability in a refined finish unique to Globe-Trotter.
Vegetable-Tanned Leather
All leather elements, including the hand-moulded corners, trims, handles and fastening details, are made from vegetable-tanned hide. This traditional tanning method uses only natural plant extracts to create leather of exceptional strength and character. Over time, it develops a rich patina, ensuring that every case becomes ever more individual with each journey.
Ethical Sourcing
Every piece of leather is ethically sourced, ensuring full traceability and adherence to high standards of animal welfare and environmental responsibility.
Handle
The top handle is constructed from reinforced, vegetable-tanned leather, bonded, pressed, and hand-finished for comfort and lasting performance.

Locks and Hardware
Locks and hardware are made from carbon steel or solid brass, finished in gold, chrome, or signature tones. Each component is selected for security, reliability, and refined style.
